Welcome
I am a board certified psychiatrist working at the Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where I also have a private practice. I am a clinical researcher studying the neurobiology of mood and anxiety disorders with the goal of contributing to novel resilience promoting treatments for these conditions. In my private practice I work with patients struggling with anxiety and mood disorders, and a variety of different challenges including work stress and interpersonal conflict. My approach is holistic as I aim to integrate biological, psychological and social perspectives and I use pharmacological, nutritional and a psychotherapeutical treatments depending on each individual’s need.
We will work together to identify the goals you have for treatment and identify the most effective approach to help you achieve these goals, towards building a happy and productive life.
I can provide psychodynamic psychotherapy and I am also happy to partner with your psychologist or therapist to manage your medication.
Your treatment is private and confidential.
